06 Kind of special yarns used for weaving Denim
The first is CoolMax yarn
This is a family of polyester fibers designed to help you beat the heat. With this cooling technology creates clothes with permanent moisture-wicking performance.
For hot days especially in summer and you want to feel cool in the office or at work, COOLMAX® technology transports moisture from your skin to the fabric surface, helping it evaporate quickly. and help you stay cool, dry and comfortable.
The second is Thermolite yarn
ThermoLite is also a Polyester fiber. Contrary to Coolmax, the ThermoLite fiber has the function of keeping warm.
Thermolite fibers are commonly used in a variety of products such as duvets, shoes and sleeping bags, but for the most part, are used for outdoor or sports wear.
ThermoLite is often used as an alternative to natural insulators because of its unmatched durability. There are five types of ThermoLite as follows:
- ThermoLite Active - Thin insulation for high energy operation and movement
- ThermoLite Extra - Warm and luxuriously soft
- ThermoLite Micro - Provides warmth and water resistance
- ThermoLite Plus - Provides ultimate warmth and comfort when wet
- ThermoLite Extreme - Remarkable warmth and durability
So how does it work in principle?
Like the CoolMax, the ThermoLite is designed with a hollow polyester core. ThermoLite traps warm air inside the material to give you warmth even when wet. ThermoLite is designed to 'draw' moisture from your skin to the outer surface, where it then evaporates or drops. Essentially, this means that Thermolite fabrics are quick to dry and warm. ThermoLite dries 20% faster than other insulating fabrics and 50% faster than cotton.
With some advantages such as durable, lightweight, breathable, quick-drying, heat-insulating, keeping warm, temperature-controlling and water-resistant. No shrinkage, no wrinkling - Hypoallergenic. Fabrics made from Thermolite fibers are very popular in cold countries.
Third is Coolmax Allseason yarn
Listening to the name of this fiber, we can feel cool and comfortable all year round.
So if it's winter, why call it cool?
Since this yarn is a combination that keeps 50% coolmax with 50% Thermolite, it will of course function cool in summer and keep warm in winter. So it's called Coolmax All Season.
Fourth is AEROCOOL
This is also a polyester fiber, it is like coolmax because it has a breathable, absorbent, quick-drying function, so the fabric made from aerocool always feels soft and cool. In addition, it also has the function of antibacterial, anti-UV and ultraviolet rays.
Fifth is Sheltech yarn
Sheltech is a high-twist cotton/cotton fiber mixed with nylon that provides insulation, cooling, air-fastness and UV protection.
Six is Cordura yarn
